Sales and Operations Coordinator

As an Sales and Operations Coordinator at Stellar Logistix, you will play avital role in our company’s growth and success. You will act as a contractor, representing our organization and providing freight brokerage services to clients in need of transportation solutions. This is a remote position, allowing you to work independently and leverage your existing network and industry expertise.


Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and prospect potential clients who require freight transportation services, building a robust portfolio of customers.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their unique logistics requirements, and providing tailored solutions.
  3. Act as an intermediary between clients and carriers, negotiating rates, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  4. Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulations related to transportation and logistics to provide informed recommendations to clients.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate smooth operations, including dispatch, documentation, and problem resolution, to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  6. Meet and exceed performance targets, including revenue generation, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency, as outlined by Stellar Logistix.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 1 years of experience in the sales or logistics industry, preferably with a focus on freight brokerage.
  2. Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and provide exceptional customer service.
  4. Demonstrated analytical and critical-thinking skills to identify challenges and provide creative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Comfortable working with various software systems and platforms, including transportation management systems (TMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  6. Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards to ensure adherence to legal requirements and ethical business practices.

This role is offered on a contractor basis, meaning you will be an independent business entity and not an employee of Stellar Logistix. You will have the flexibility to manage your workload accordingly. Compensation will be commission-based, with earning potential directly correlated to your sales performance and ability to build lasting client relationships.
